Rockwood South Fills Up Program
At Rockwood South we want to ensure all of our students and their families have access to resources and support and understand that economical situations change regularly. We created a program, RSMS Fills Up, in hopes of closing the gap in access to needed items and resources.
The goal is to "Fill Up" our students and their families by providing scholarships for field trips, extracurricular activites, house hold items, cleaning/hygiene supplies, and holiday support.
This program collects donations and grants throughout the year from our PSO, community partners, and RSMS teachers and staff.

The role of the school social worker in the Rockwood School District is to partner with the school counselor to identify students and families in need of extra support as they navigate life’s challenges.
The school social worker provides support with mental health and behavioral concerns, as well as positive behavioral support, classroom support, consultation with parents and school staff, and therapeutic individual and group support. The school social worker offers a variety of services and resources for students and families.
